Telephonic Standby

MedOccs provides a 24hr telephonic standby service to it’s clients staffed by paramedic personnel. These services can be tailored to the specific needs of our clients. Typically these services would include:

  • multi tier call system with appropriately qualified medical practitioners on 24hr standby
  • telephonic linkage to consultants with required expertise including:
    • occupational medicine
    • diving medicine
    • emergency medicine
    • travel and tropical medicine
  • mobilization of emergency care and transport including:
    • telephonic emergency advice
    • dispatch of road transport
    • coordination of air transport
    • liaison with insurers
  • support of DMP functions
    • medical queries
    • operational planning support
